About Us

Wrexham USA: For Fans, By Fans.

I left Wrexham back in 2006 for a job in America — and quickly realized a surprising truth: most people didn’t know Wales was even a country. Some thought it was part of England. Others would guess “Australia?” So, as any proud Welshman would, I made it my mission to set the record straight... one confused conversation at a time.

Then along came Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, and their takeover of Wrexham AFC. The hit show Welcome to Wrexham made it suddenly cool to say “I’m from Wrexham.” Americans finally knew where I was from — and, more importantly, why it mattered.

What started as a few of us exiled Wrexham lads in the States turned into Wrexham USA — a community of fans; the long suffering, and the proudly curious. We call ourselves The WrexPats: Welsh at heart, scattered across America, bonded by football and flag.

It all began with hats — custom made,, limited-run, high-quality baseball caps that filled a void the club hadn’t yet filled. Word spread, and soon it wasn’t just us — locals, expats, and new fans alike wanted in. Now it’s more than merch. It’s identity. It’s connection. It’s a love letter to where we’re from and a nod to where we live now.

You’ll find gear here that celebrates the club, the town, and the country we call home — sometimes in English, sometimes in Welsh, always with pride. (“Cefnogwch Clybiau Pêl Droed Lleol,” by the way, means Support Local Football Clubs — and yes, you should.)

Wrexham USA is based out of Las Vegas, but our heart’s forever in North Wales. Whether you found us via the show, the Club, or sheer curiosity, you’re part of the story now.
